Scaredy Cat

My Cat, Marla

My Cat, Marla

I think this post needs a cute image of my cat. But that’s off the topic of horror, and this is a horror blog, so I’m going to have to add some random stuff about cats being scary. Or scared. Whatever.

I’m feeling lazy, so here are some links:

That’s about how to form a bond with a Scaredy Cat. Marla was a Scaredy Cat when I first met her, although who could blame her? She was left outside by the last tenant, who couldn’t have cats. Marla “the Mar Mar” Saulson was only six months old then and had already experienced teenage cat pregnancy.

People, please spay and neuter your pets.

Anyway, we adopted her, and she’s spayed now.

Here is a link to some feline Myths and Legends

So, I started out trying to comment on someone’s post on Word Press, and the next thing I know, I was making a blog… and a custom layout.. and sticking widgets on it. I’m not sure why I would do such a thing, but the next thing you know, I was asking, “can I get some feedback on the layout? Red and Black – do they make your eyes bleed? Red and Black did make people’s eyes bleed, so the blog is black now…

Marla and I thank you for your indulgence.

  1. I have never liked how narrow the actual text area is, but it seems like there aren’t a lot of ways around it so that it fits on all screens.

The facebook plugin might be making it too busy on the right hand side…but that could be just me. Keep in mind that my blog is made of lime-green chickens.

  2. OK, on my tablet now. Everything seems to fit nicely, nothing poking out awkwardly.

  3. Thanks Jody… much appreciated. Thanks for the feedback. The look is much cleaner now and I’m thinking, more on-theme for a horror writer/horror topic blog in black than it was with the kitschy red-and-black thing.
