I hope Sumiko reads this because I love ur work your title things that go bump in my head. I initially bought it because of the title. I liked little Lucy she was a very strong character . The title is a great play on words. Just like another story I got from Amazon titled cross my heart and hope to kill by Terrance Jordan. He’s also African American and both titles have a well known saying with a twisted catch. whiel his work wasn’t as dark as yours i enjoyed it just the same. Anyway anybody who likes horror should but ur book and read oregeno
lol! Sorry. I wrote three novels and a short story anthology, I guess I remember the character names from the novels better. To tell you the truth, it is a challenge to come up with enough different names for that many stories – between the novels and the short stories, I guess that’s about 20 stories all together. I got confused. I feel a little dumb forgetting my own character though.
Yes I am always happy when people comment on my blog, Terrance.
