The book is slated for release October, 28 2014, but presales begin next week on March 16, 2014.
She said on the air that the book would be a continuation of the Vampire Chronicles, and could be considered a “true sequel” to Queen of the Damned. She also said it won’t be the last new Vampire Chronicle – she has another in the series in the work after this, so one can truly say LESTAT IS BACK.
